Yesterday a delegation of the Austrian Ski Federation had the chance to meet Pope Francis in the Vatican City. Markus Salcher was part of this group. The pope mentioned that the athletes are “idols for the youth” and promised to pray for them. “It was an incredible experience with impressions that will last forever”, Markus Salcher said. Afterwards the delegation was got a guided tour through the Saint Peter’s Cathedral.
